t( Regulating Subdivisions. City Engineer J. P. Crick In speaking yeHtorday of the difficulties at times experienced in locating lots which are supposed to be definitely placed in certain subdivisions on the outskirts of the city, expressed an opinion that an ordinance regulating the subdivision of tracts of land in and about Lead, is becoming almost a ne-cesisty. It Is not ho much at present that the Inconvenience of the present lack of system makes itself felt, but on looking Into the future it becomes evident that a disorderly arrangement of streets, alleys and lots will bo produced that may cost the city an Indefinite amount of annoyance and thousands of dolars to obviate.
