1m A LIST OF DEATHS Which Occurred Yesterday on the Belt. Yesterday morning at 7 a. Mrs. Lizzie Weedon, of Central, passed away from a complication of complaints, the principal one being infomation of the liver. She had been ailing for quite a number of and the illness became chronic; as a last resort she was brought to the Homestake hospital to be operated on last Sunday, but she was so weak that the doctors feared to operate until she had regained a part of her strength; a preliminary operation was performed which eased her considerably For a whole day she was slowly einking and was rumored to have died Pridey after noon, but she showed a wonderful reserve strength at the end which prolonged her life beyond the best hopes of the attending physicians Her husband, Chas.

K. Weedon of was with her until the last. Mrs. Weedon was 55 years of age and had spent 35 years of happy mar-? ried life with her husband who sur. vives her.

Mrs. Weedon was one 00 the old timers and has a world 01 friends among the early pioneers the Hills. She died in the assurance that her future life will be a suitable reward for her noble Christian work in this life. Her husband is the only near relative who survives her. The funeral will take place from the family residence in Central next Monday at 2 o'clock, Rev.

Giddings officiating, R. Smith funeral director. The inter ment will be in the Mount Moriah cemetery in Deadwood. Jacob Foster of Golden Gate, died of old age at 9 o'clock Friday evening aged 92 years 1 month, and 11 days. The deceased was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1852 residing in Pittsburg, until 2 years ago, when he moved to Cen4 tral accompanied by his wife, who suri vives him.

He also leaves several children, Mrs. Frank Lewis, of Lead; Mrs. Hennings; Mrs. Harry Burt of Central; one son in Los Angeles, Call and one in Pittsburg, Pa. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family; residence; interment will be in the Masonic cemetery in Lead.

At 2:20 yesterday morning John! the one-year-old son of Mr. and John F. Peterson of Terraville, died of scarlet fever. The funeral 1001 place yesterday at 3 p. Rev.
