Dorrington, the chairman and secretary were authorized to publish in the Deadwood papers 1 tice for the citizens of Central City, South Bend and Golden Gate, to meet at Monroe's Hall, in Central, on Monday evening, September 3d, for the purpose of electing a board of trustees to act for them in the matter of securing a patent for the town site and a legal town organization. It having been represented to the meeting by the chair that an indebtedness of seven bundred dollars remained standing against the building committee on the new road Mr. Chadwick offerred the following resolution which on motion was adopted: Resolved, Tuat at committee of three be appointed by the chair to visit Messrs. Ward and May, owners of the Cheyenne and Deadwood toll-road, and ascertain the best terms on which they will take the road and pay the indebtedness, and report immediately, The chair appointed G. C.

W. Murray, from Laramie coumy, Wyoming, arrived in the city last evening. He has been establishing the election precinels for the western portion of that county, and appointing judges for the election in September 4th next.
